A PETITION to stop Katie Price owning any more pets has soared to 26k signatures.
Animal lovers kick-started the historic petition against Katie, 44, back into action following the death of her cream Pomeranian called Sharon.
Now more than 26k furious members of the public have added their support to the call to ban the former glamor model from buying animals.
The dog was run over after bounding through an open gate and straight onto a busy road.
Sharon is the sixth known animal in Katie’s care to pass away.
The string of deaths began in 2017 and includes a horse and even a chameleon.
A petition calls on the RSPCA and PETA to stop Katie from owning pets and has now been updated in the wake of Sharon’s fatal accident.
Titled ‘Ban Katie Price from buying any more animals’ was originally created several years ago.
Following news of Sharon’s death, the creator wrote: “A puppy has died in the last 24 hours in Katie prices care she bought this puppy for her 13 year old child 3 weeks ago. Which was killed in an accident no one witnessed.
“In the last 5 years more animals have died from lack of care. Horses. dogs, cats, lizards, hedgehogs. This isn’t a single family tragedy. It’s a common thing in Katie’s price home [SIC].”
The Sun approached Katie for comment over Sharon’s demise.
Katie’s pets began dying in unfortunate circumstances five years ago.
In 2017, one of her horses perished after being struck by a motor vehicle.
A year later, delivery driver hit her Alsatian, Queenie. A chameleon called Marvin died of a “broken heart” the same year when her kids, Princess and Junior, went to stay with her ex Peter Andre.
In 2020 a second Alsatian, Sparkle, was hit by a car. Months later, French Bulldog Rolo suffocated.
The family’s care worker for her eldest son Harvey reportedly sat on the pup and trapped it after it was dozed off under a chair.
