A Sydney man, who has been charged with 33 offenses after allegedly beating his partner, has been found with a number of dead rabbits in his freezer.

NSW Police allege the Chester Hill man killed the rabbits ‘after he became frustrated with the animals.’

Police began investigating the 21-year-old on Thursday over multiple alleged domestic violences allegations.

The police will allege the man punched, kicked, slapped, and threatened a 20-year-old woman known to him on multiple occasions.

The police also claim the man filmed an intimate act with the woman without her consent, before threatening to release the vision.

A raid of his Chester Hill home allegedly found a number of dead pet rabbits, including a carcass in the freezer, with the animals believed to have been killed by the man in anger.

Two still-living rabbits were also found and turned over to the RSPCA.

The man’s lengthy list of alleged charges includes eight counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, three counts of torture, beat etc and cause death of animal, intentionally choking a person without consent, four counts of intentionally record intimate image without consent, as well as a driving charge and a drugs possession charge.

He was arrested at the Chester Hill unit and refused bail ahead of an appearance in Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.
